I help Shopify stores get the work done.
From product pages and custom features to store updates and troubleshooting, I handle the website work behind your Shopify business.
Selected work
Shopify work covering storefront development, page builds, custom features, and the updates businesses need to keep their stores moving.

How I can help
Practical Shopify support for website updates, development, store improvements, and the work that sits between them.
Shopify store updates
Handling the day-to-day website work that keeps a Shopify store current: product pages, content updates, layouts, sections, navigation, and other storefront changes.
Product and landing pages
Designing and building product pages, landing pages, and other storefront experiences around what the business needs. I can work from an existing direction or help shape the page itself.
Custom Shopify features
Building features that go beyond standard theme settings using Liquid, JavaScript, Shopify APIs, metafields, metaobjects, and custom sections and blocks.
Theme development and customization
Customizing existing Shopify themes or building new storefront components with clean, maintainable code that fits the way the store is managed.
Troubleshooting and optimization
Finding and fixing storefront issues such as broken layouts, Liquid problems, JavaScript errors, slow pages, and features that are not working as expected.
Marketing and outreach support
Additional experience with lead generation, cold email outreach, and marketing automation, including a workflow that automated sending around 100 outbound emails per day.
How I work
A clear process so you always know where things stand, even across time zones.
Tell me what needs doing
Send over the task, problem, idea, or list of things you need help with. I review the existing store and clarify anything that affects scope.
Plan the work
I break the work into clear deliverables, flag anything that needs a technical decision, and confirm what will be changed before work starts.
Build and update
I handle the Shopify work in a development theme when appropriate, keeping the live store protected while changes are being built and tested.
Review and handoff
You review the finished work, I make the agreed adjustments, and I leave you with a store that is ready to use and maintain.

About
I'm George Allen Donayre. I help Shopify businesses with the website and store work that needs to get done, from product pages and custom features to updates, troubleshooting, and storefront improvements.
Web development is my strongest area, but I don't limit myself to code. I can work across Shopify storefronts, page implementation, store improvements, and related marketing or outreach automation when the business needs it.
Common questions
Answers to things clients usually ask before starting a project.
Both. If you already have a Figma file, screenshot, or clear direction, I can implement it in Shopify. If the page still needs to be figured out, I can also help shape the layout and storefront experience before building it.
I work async. You'll get regular written progress updates with screenshots or preview links. We align on a communication schedule at the start so nothing stalls while waiting for responses.
It depends on the work. A project might be a single product page, a new feature, a round of store updates, or ongoing Shopify support. I scope the work around the actual tasks and agree on the cost and timeline before starting.
I work part-time and take on a limited number of projects at once, which keeps turnaround times realistic. My schedule is flexible, and I make time for live overlap when a project needs it, like kickoff calls or review sessions. If you need someone full-time and embedded day to day, this setup won't be the right fit, but for scoped or ongoing part-time work, it's a good match.
Revisions are organized into focused rounds. After each build phase, you review against the original design and provide consolidated feedback. This keeps changes organized and avoids scope drift.
I work with any Shopify plan that supports Online Store 2.0 themes. That includes most modern themes, whether custom-built or based on Dawn, Debut, or third-party themes. I can also work on older themes if needed, though I'll flag any limitations upfront.
Send me a message with what you need help with, even if it is just a rough list of tasks or a problem you are trying to solve. I'll review it, ask any useful follow-up questions, and come back with a clear scope and next steps.
